The FIRE PIRANHAS band was formed in 2009 by Elle Pikul (singer, lyricist, arranger) and Anatoly Grinberg (music composer, sound director). Prior to forming The Fire Piranhas, Anatoly Grinberg released several albums in the electronic, industrial rock, IDM, chill-out, and dark ambient genres under the names of "Tokee", "Paindonor", and "ARG". Elle Pikul took private singing lessons and studied acting at the world famous Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles, California.

Apart from singing in The Fire Piranhas she is also a working actress and model. Elle and Anatoly first met in 1993 at a unique high school for children gifted in music, choreography and acting in Moscow, Russia. After graduating in 1996, Anatoly moved to Israel and the two had not seen each other until 13 years later when they both decided to collaborate on a song experiment. Anatoly had never worked with a singer before, yet he was so impressed with Elle's voice and work ethic that they ended up composing and recording an entire album together. Combining both of their passions and energy, the magic they created was a fulfillment of their individual musical visions and dreams, and it is that same vision that will keep these two together in continuous pursuit of more ambitious journeys into musical realms yet to be explored.

The Fire Piranhas music is a fascinating mixture of alternative, dance, lounge, emotional, chill-out, and electronic, with playful tinges of Anatoly's flying cosmic sounds and groovy beats. Topping off the musical experience is the sparkling voice of Elle Pikul, caressing your ears with vocal tenderness and sensuality that permeates your soul and leaves you dreaming for more!

I actually, felt like this ladies was singing into my ear and head, and the music was pulsating and throbbing and dancing with my head, heart and soul. And my spirit soaring away up high above me as I danced to this very hypnotic, trance, dance,electronic, alternative, music and great bewitching captivating strong vocals from this lady that sings on it. Wow.. I close my eyes and I'm truly in a outstanding ecstasy state of mind, body and soul. As my body and mind was took over by this outstanding sound-scape from both this ladies extraordinary vocals and the empowering, energetic, passionate, atmospheric-al, compelling, irresistible strong, deep, passionate, music. Hell... I want more, I'm addicted and compelled, let alone mesmerized by all in this sound-scape of an album and that ladies strong, infectious. rich, deep penetrating vocals she has. She blow my mind and I want more.... let alone the music.

I felt like dancing with no clothes on in my room with this album turned away up high and the lights off and my mind and body was in perfect harmony with all I heard. As I danced and moved to this hypnotic sound of awe and beauty and wonderment and bliss heard on check this exceptional album out.. This is a saver and a keeper believe me..
